About the Marina Chamber of Commerce

These are exciting times for the community of Marina. With major new residential and commercial development projects, we anticipate becoming the second largest city in Monterey County. The Marina Chamber of Commerce is front and center, with leaders who help foster a sense of involved community through their support and participation. Service organizations, non-profits, and multi-cultural organizations all are members, as well as traditional providers of goods and services. Mission Statement

The objective of the Marina Chamber of Commerce is for the advancement of the commercial, economic, industrial, professional, cultural, environmental, and civic welfare of Marina; and with an intent of strengthening relations with neighboring cities and Monterey County, as well as California State University, Monterey Bay and the University of California.

The Marina Chamber of Commerce is organized to preserve the competitive enterprise system of business by creating a better understanding of the importance of the business owners; to promote business and community growth and development by promoting economic programs designed to strengthen and expand the income potential of all classifications of business; to develop civic, social, and cultural programs designed to increase the values of our community; and to correct abuses which prevent business expansion and community growth.

The Marina Chamber office and website receive an abundance of inquiries about our members, the needs of our members and the services offered by our members. These calls are from potential customers, suppliers and lenders to serve your financial needs. OnlyMarina Chamber Members receive referrals from the Marina Chamber office.

Governmental Advocacy

The Marina Chamber of Commerce serves as the united voice of business on city, county and regional issues that affect our members. The Marina Chamber strives to keep you informed on the issues that may directly affect you and your business. The collective voice of the chamber membership can do much more than one business alone.

Our updated website offers fresh information and news about our City of Marina and its business climate to residents, visitors and those wishing to relocate here. As a member you will be listed with your contact information. Our website attracts local residents by offering news, weather, and local information. Our updated event listings will encourage people to visit often and enjoy what the city of Marina, and your business, has to offer. Marketing Opportunities

  • Chamber members have access to a mailing list of fellow members free of charge.
  • Relocation packets containing information about Marina are sent to people interested in relocating their home or their business here. Members are invited to provide their marketing material to be included.
  • Visitor packets are sent on request with your hospitality information included.
  • As a member, we'll add your brochures or introductory information to our New Residents packet. It's stuffed with valuable community orientation information and supplied to all those purchasing a new home in Marina.
