Marina High School Mentorship Program

Marina High is recruiting for our Fall 2019 Mentorship Program.
We are hoping you can join us or if not, if you could please forward this information to friends, family, colleagues, etc. to spark further interest.
Last year Marina High School embarked in a Mentorship Program, in which all 10th grade scholars received a community mentor. With over 50 mentors participating through a 3 cycle meeting, we had a huge success. The mentorship meetings are scripted (if you’d like to use the script) and supported by Marina High administration. This year we are expanding! We need up to 60 mentors (to keep a 3 scholar ratio) and increasing to 5 different sessions.
Dates / Times are as follows:
September 10 7:30 – 9:20 – Training and 1st Mentorship Meeting
October 15 8:35 – 9:20 – 2nd Mentorship Meeting
November 12 8:35 – 9:20 – 3rd Mentorship Meeting
January 14 8:35 – 9:20 – 4th Mentorship Meeting
February 11 8:35 – 9:50 – 5th Mentorship Meeting and Mentor Debrief
