Beatles Remembered is a multidisciplinary performance piece inspired by the music of the Beatles, who changed not only rock and roll, but also the face of all music forever. This beloved group of musicians reflects the spirit of the 1960’s and 70’s with their timeless messages and melodies. Original choreography by Fran Spector Atkins and Jahnna Biddle and re-staged by Amy Byington and SpectorDance Company member Colton Sterling, this playful piece merges hip hop, jazz and ballet. Come and sing and dance along with SpectorDance!
Four Seasons, a dance piece about the beauty of each season as a metaphor for the seasons of life, is inspired by Vivaldi’s timeless music of the same name. Original choreography by Fran Spector Atkins and re-staged by Amy Byington.
Special Guest Performers: Na Haumana. Na Haumana recognizes the importance of tradition and teaches culture and dance from the Polynesian and Micronesian islands. Na Haumana will perform Aloha ‘Aina (Love of the Land), a piece paying homage to the respect and preservation of Hawaii’s land and culture to perpetuate her aloha for generations to come.
