*Special Update *
The Marina Chamber of Commerce wanted to let you know that the deadline for Round 1 applications for California’s $500 Million Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program has been extended to January 13th, 2021, at 11:59 p.m.
The program is being administered by the California Office of the Small Business Advocate, and grants will be disbursed by the Program’s Intermediary, Lendistry.
Grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 will be awarded to eligible small businesses and nonprofits across the state that have been impacted by COVID-19 and related health and safety restrictions.
The application window has been extended and now closes next Wednesday, 1/13. It’s not a first-come, first-served process, so applications will be accepted at any time up to the deadline on 1/13/21 at 11:59 Pacific.
You can learn more about eligibility requirements and APPLY at www.CAReliefGrant.com.

I’m a freshly immigrated Canadian passionate about both physical activity and the outdoors, and where’s a better place to pursue those interests than alongside the Monterey Bay coastline? My company Monterey Bay Moves was influenced by my own Canadian experience of fitness, and I engineered our services to be close to the community and its surrounding nature. With Monterey Bay Moves it was never just about bringing a workout to those in need — it was also about developing a concept of unique outdoor training programs that would let us make the most of our unique area.
I serve on the board of the Marina Chamber of Commerce as Vice-President and on the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce's Economic Vitality Committee.
