Do you ever feel bloated, stuffed or disappointed because you mindlessly overate?
When you are sitting at the table, do you find yourself planning to eat an X amount of food, just because you are used to that? Do you notice the sensation of being full too late and already feel that heaviness that will leave you sluggish and feeling disappointed in yourself? Do you find it hard to make smart and healthy decisions regarding nutrition? Do you feel like food is all you can think of throughout the day and you simply can’t “control” yourself when it comes to eating?
We struggle with that as well… that’s why we’ve come up with this special mindful eating session.
Basics of Mindfulness Meditation: Mindful Eating
In this session, we will learn about how mindfulness meditation can help you be aware of habitual eating patterns that may be contributing to overeating. We will touch on strategies for noticing the subtle differences between being slightly full, full, and really full. We will also explore common negative thinking and how to use mindfulness meditation to notice such thinking, and come back to the “present moment” in order to make wiser choices that support fully enjoyment of food without overconsumption.
