Savor The Holidays Workshop – Enjoy the holidays, guilt-free!

$20The Holidays often bring with them worry, distraction, and comparison. Other common themes that come up during the Holidays include: loneliness, demands on time, perfectionism, indulgence, and family dynamics.
Aren’t the Holidays supposed to cheer us up and bring us together? But wait, are the Holidays the culprit or is there another way to look at this stress-riddled part of the year?
Monterey Bay Moves is bringing back its successful mindful eating workshop, with a holiday twist this time!
During this 90-minute session, we will touch on how to use mindful communication to check in with ourselves, and find respectful and less stressful ways to check in and communicate with others during Holidays.
We will also touch on mindful self-compassion as a way to not judge ourselves so harshly for how we’ve dealt with Holiday stress in the past. This will allow us a space to accept our present relationship to the Holidays, and explore a different way forward.
Join us on Sunday December 1st, to learn about how we can use mindfulness meditation to exercise our self-awareness muscle, and learn to respond to people, events, and activities that accompany the Holidays in ways that are less stressful and activate our relaxation system.
This meditation and mindful eating workshop starts at 2:30pm and ends at 4:00pm.
